PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Over 10,000 sq. ft. of WRAPSHIELD SA® SELF-ADHERED Air Barrier was installed on Franklin Middle School in Thief River Falls, Minnesota.
WRAPSHIELD SA® SELF-ADHERED Air Barrier is specially designed to allow moisture to escape the building envelope. This innovative design feature prevents mold, mildew and rot from forming in the building envelope, this prevents structural deterioration and hazardous indoor air quality.
As a result, WRAPSHIELD SA® SELF-ADHERED Air Barrier allows Franklin Middle school inhabitants to breathe easier. This component was crucial to the project as both the building health and the health of Franklin Middle School's staff members and students was of top concern.
WRAPSHIELD SA® SELF-ADHERED Air Barrier is lightweight, for easy installation, while remaining extremely durable. The water resistive vapor permeable air barrier sheet is tough – remaining tear, rip and puncture resistant both during and after construction. This helped to reduce labor costs and to guarantee the project was completed in a timely manner.
