WrapShield SA Self-Adhered
WrapShield SA Self-Adhered was the only WRB/Air Barrier membrane that could accommodate the aggressive timeline and the job site, which was closely located to pedestrians and heavy traffic.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Set against the horizon as one of the tallest complexes in downtown Denver, Country Club Towers offers luxury residences with resort-like amenities in the desirable West Wash Park. Expected to be completed mid-2017, the $190M building aims to achieve the absolute highest energy-efficient standards. WrapShield SA Self-Adhered was the ideal choice for the eco-conscious project set in a tight, urban construction space. WrapShield SA supports efforts towards achieving LEED certification, was awarded the Declare label, and emits zero VOC’s during installation. Entirely self-adhering, it did not require any primer, thus protecting nearby pedestrians and walkers.
The Country Club Towers utilized over 200,000 sq. ft. of WrapShield SA Self-Adhered around the tower’s abundant floor-to-ceiling windows. Phase construction friendly and ideal for projects with tight timelines, WrapShield SA Self-Adhered required less labor and installed quickly – saving contractors time and money.
Once completed, the 31-story building will feature 558 luxury units with panoramic views. Residences can expect to enjoy many other chic amenities including: granite countertops, a 26,000 sq. ft. deck with lap pool, and an all-inclusive fitness center.
