PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Approximately 10,500 sq. ft. of WRAPSHIELD SA® SELF-ADHERED Water Resistive Vapor Permeable Air Barrier Sheet membrane was installed at the Audi Dealership located in Mentor, Ohio. VaproFlashing Self-Adhered SA and VaproLiqui- Flash were installed over the facility's window and door rough openings to provide durable protection to the building envelope.
Given its multiple substrate compatibility, WRAPSHIELD SA® SELF-ADHERED was easily installed over CDX plywood. The lightweight, vapor permeable air barrier membrane is tear, rip and puncture resistant making it an effective and reliable addition to all construction projects.
WRAPSHIELD SA® SELF-ADHERED installed easily. The fully self-adhering product does not require a primer and was installed with zero air bubbles or wrinkles. WRAPSHIELD SA® SELF-ADHERED provided a snug fit while still allowing vapor condensation to escape the building envelope. This innovative membrane prevents mold, mildew and rot from forming to ensure building longevity and good indoor air quality for building occupants.
Offering multiple substrate compatibility, WRAPSHIELD SA® SELF-ADHERED was installed over CDX plywood.
VaproLiqui-Flash (gray) applied over VaproFlashing (orange) around the rough opening of a window. Despite temperatures hovering just above freezing, VaproLiqui-Flash can still be installed.
