PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The Slabtown Market Place, a mixed-use building, in Tigard, Oregon switched to WrapShield IT Integrated Tape Water Resistive Vapor Permeable Air Barrier Sheet, citing the product’s versatility and ability to be installed in weather conditions which were too wet for the originally specified liquid-applied barrier. WrapShield IT Integrated Tape also worked in conjunction with the construction schedule because the product does not require special installation equipment, and offered labor savings.
Over 120,000 sq.ft. of VaproShield membranes were able to accommodate the multiple exterior materials used in this complex renovation/construction. Exterior materials included brick, wood, aluminum, steel storefront systems, a green wall, Cor-ten steel, board framed concrete and fiberglass windows. The building is also seeking LEED Gold Certification.
Over 120,000 sq.ft. of WrapShield IT Integrated Tape (orange) was installed over DensGlas® sheathing.
VaproShield WRB/AB membranes easily accommodated the multiple types of exterior veneers used in this complex renovation.
