PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Over 20,000 sq. ft. of WALLSHIELD® Water Resistive Barrier Sheet was installed on Covenant House in Anchorage, Alaska. A second layer of WRAPSHIELD® Black was used along the open joints providing a black reveal and long-term UV protection.
RIM Architects has successfully used VaproShield products on many projects and is extremely satisfied with the envelope protection it provides.
The open joint rain screen siding system demands a high-end weather barrier behind it that is breathable enough to allow any consequential moisture in the wall system to breath out.
