VaproShield is proud to be part of the revitalization of Vancouver’s waterfront with Block 8, a multi-million-dollar project in the historic redevelopment of 32-acres along the Columbia river.
WrapShield SA Self-Adhered facilitated the large-scale development process and phase-construction schedule. Entirely self-adhering, WrapShield SA is free of VOCs and does not require the use of primers. This feature proved invaluable, as it did not expose the preserved waterfront district to toxic chemicals and overspray. The volatile pacific northwestern climate demanded a WRB/Air-Barrier that could resist exposure to the elements throughout multi-phase construction. Able to be exposed for up to six months, WrapShield SA was entirely moisture, UV, and tear resistant—accommodating the projects complex requirements while staying on time and budget.
The state-of-the-art development will feature a total of 20 ‘blocks’ upon completion and is expected to bring more than 10,000 jobs and 380 million in revenue.
