PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Over 80,000 sq.ft. of WrapShield IT Integrated Tape Water Resistive Vapor Permeable Air Barrier Sheet Membrane was used in Edgeway; a massive multi-family project designed by Kasian Architecture in Edmonton, Alberta.
WrapShield IT Integrated Tape was installed on OSB behind cultured stone, fiber cement board and metal cladding using VaproFlashing. WrapShield IT Integrated Tape withstands low temperature application and can be exposed for up to six months before cladding installation, making it perfect for the seasonal changes typical of phase construction.
The first phase of construction began in April 2015 and included seven buildings, totaling 110 stacked townhome units. The second phase of construction to begin in late 2017.
WrapShield IT was installed behind Cultured Stone, Fiber Cement Board and Metal Cladding.
