PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The Meow Wolf installation in Denver, CO has sparked the interest of the construction and art world alike, with over 25,000 sq. ft. of RevealShield SA Self-Adhered and the unlikely construction location of a major freeway underpass.

With a matte-black reveal and exceptional UV-stability, RevealShield SA Self-Adhered proved to be ideally suited for the open-joint fiber cement cladding. RevealShield SA’s innovative pressure-sensitive adhesive bonded directly to the substrate and allowed seamless one-pass installation with no down time. Rough openings were flashed with RevealFlashing SA Self-Adhered and VaproBond—both of which drastically reduced installation time and eliminated the need for untested outside components.

The prefabricated panels were easily installed in the busy urban construction site. Able to stand exposure for up to 12 months prior to cladding, RevealShield facilitated the complex phase-construction project, which is slated for completion by 2021.
