PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Over 25,000 sq.ft. of WrapShield SA Self-Adhered, water resistive vapor permeable air barrier sheet membrane was chosen to protect the iconic 40 year old Chattanooga office complex in the heart of Chattanooga, TN. Adhered to the existing glass fiber reinforced concrete (GFRC) exterior, WrapShield SA with this high drying capacity, will allow moisture vapor to escape the wall cavity, helping to prevent mold growth and water damage for the life of the building. VaproShims Self-Adhered, used under horizontal cladding attachment components, created a narrow, effective rain screen cavity, allowing for unimpeded vertical moisture drainage away from the building envelope. This small but mighty accessory contributes to the overall resilience of the building envelope by allowing moisture to escape away from the structure. WrapShield SA requires no primer and emits zero VOCs, making it an eco-conscious choice that promotes a healthier building environment. The product was also compliant with the federally mandated Made In America Act.
