WrapShield SA Self-Adhered
RevealShield SA Self-Adhered
RevealShield SA Self-Adhered (black) was installed behind open-joint cladding on the Residence at Quarry Hill assisted living center in Burlington, Vermont.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Over 35,000 sq.ft. of WrapShield SA Self-Adhered and RevealShield SA Self-Adhered were installed on the assisted living building in Vermont. WrapShield SA was applied to Hunter™ XCI Ply high thermal rigid insulated panels. RevealShield SA Self-Adhered (black) WRB/Air Barrier was installed behind the open joint cladding, creating the desired black reveal and UV stability.
Both products were chosen for their ability to be applied in low temperatures as they were installed during the winter in Vermont. They can withstand up to six months of UV and climate exposure prior to cladding installation and offer exceptional drying capacity.
RevealShield SA Self-Adhered and WrapShield SA Self-Adhered do not require substrate preparation, tapes or primers, reducing labor costs by at least 20%. In addition, common hand tools are used for installation, eliminating the need for expensive equipment and additional mobilizations.
The Residence at Quarry Hill features four stories with 100 units. The rustic charm of Vermont is highlighted throughout the facility, making it friendly and welcoming to its residents.
