PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The $325 million Mall of America expansion project includes a 342-room JW Marriott hotel, an office tower, high-end retail, a new dining area, and an underground parking ramp. The initial phase broke ground in March 2014 and features over 190,000 sq. ft. of WRAPSHIELD SA® SELF-ADHERED Water Resistive Vapor Permeable Air Barrier Sheet installed on the JW Marriott hotel.With Minnesota's harsh winters, WRAPSHIELD SA® SELF-ADHERED is an ideal choice because it can be installed in temperatures as low as 20°F (-6°C), helping to prevent weather delays and allowing project construction to carry on as scheduled.
