PROJECT DESCRIPTION
In order to ensure a high performance building envelope, the contractor had 35,000 sq.ft. of RevealShield IT Integrated Tape installed on the new Harris East Condominiums.
Since the condos created a picturesque façade with multiple types of cladding: open joint, wood and metal, RevealShield IT Integrated Tape WRB/Air Barrier was an ideal choice. Offering the unique properties required for open joint cladding such as long-term UV stability, RevealShield IT is suited for use with all cladding types. By using a single WRB/Air Barrier system the installation crew saved valuable time, money and training time.
The harsh weather of Halifax was no match for the durable and robust RevealShield IT Integrated Tape. The horizontal integrated tape seals in all weather conditions and easily creates the necessary shingle effect eliminating reverse lap conditions.
