PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Over 30,000 sq. ft. of WrapShield SA Self-Adhered Water Resistive Vapor Permeable Air Barrier Sheet Membrane was installed in the construction of Alpino Condo Tower in Monterrey, Mexico.
Ideal for use on cementitious substrates, WrapShield SA Self-Adhered is entirely self-adhering and was easily installed on the cementitious substrate despite the humid weather conditions of Mexico. In addition, WrapShield SA will drastically reduce the incidence of moisture related damage by drying out the porous cement throughout the life of the building.
WrapShield SA is free of VOCs and does not require the use of primers. This feature proved invaluable to both the residents of Monterrey as well as the natural ecosystem, as contractors were able to safely install the building wrap without fear of exposing people or the environment to toxic primers. This versatility met the project’s objectives and made installation easy
