Nestled in the side of an incredible mountain range, this private residence in Malibu, California was wrapped in VaproShield’s RevealShield SA Self-Adhered. Offering high vapor permeability, exceptional UV stability, and easy installation on virtually all substrates, RevealShield SA resists water infiltration and protects against the buildup of mold, mildew, and rot.

To further enhance moisture protection, the residence installed VaproShims and VaproMat to provide a cavity for moisture drainage. Rough openings were secured with waterproof flashing in the form of VaproShield’s Liqui-Flash, protecting vulnerable fenestrations from the mountain elements.

This stunning residence was a rebuild following a fire, and the owners chose RevealShield SA in large part due to its exceptional fire resistance and flame spread index of zero.
