PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Over 30,000 sq. ft. of RevealShield SA Self-Adhered UV Stable Water Resistive Vapor Permeable Air Barrier Membrane was installed on the new Arizona Center for Law and Society Building as part of Arizona State University in Phoenix, Arizona.
The General Contractor chose RevealShield SA Self-Adhered for continuity of WRB/Air Barrier with multiple cladding types, including open joint, saving time and money. RevealShield SA Self-Adhered does not require substrate preparation, tapes or primers, reducing labor costs by at least 20%. In addition, common hand tools are used for installation, eliminating the need for expensive equipment.
RevealShield SA Self-Adhered adds to the building’s overall efficiency by helping to prevent air leakage, reducing energy consumption. RevealShield SA Self-Adhered is also vapor permeable helping to reduce the risk of damage from mold, midew, rot and corrosion which can contribute to structural damage.
