PROJECT DESCRIPTION

RevealShield IT Integrated Tape and VaproLiquiFlash were installed on a luxury oceanside residence in Del Mar, CA. The owner wanted a maintenance-free cladding that would endure the harsh beach environment, so a high-performance WRB/Air Barrier would be necessary.

The Architect had used the look of durable wood siding with VaproShield on several projects in the past and decided to use the same combination due to its quality and ease of installation.

RevealShield IT was easy to install and held up to the sun exposure for months before the panels were installed. The installer noted that it was much easier to install than liquid-applied air barriers with the wind and moisture and weather constraints. The owner of the property is once again working with the same Architect to build an addition, and they are going with the same system because it has held up so well.
