Nestled in the quaint town of Gig Harbor, this private residence will withstand the rainy weather of the northwest. The owner opted to install 8,000 sq.ft. of SlopeShield Plus SA vapor permeable roofing underlayment to protect this new exclusive residence. SlopeShield Plus SA will promote long-term drying of the roofing assembly through vapor diffusion which will mitigate moisture build-up in the roofing assembly for the life of the home.

The walls are protected by 6,500 sq.ft. RainScreen SA, self-adhered air and water resistive barrier with factory installed drainage matrix to reduce the incidence of moisture related damage behind the cladding system, comprised of SIPS for a roof and wall, provided by Premier Building Systems, Puyallup, WA. By creating an essential drainage plane, RainScreen SA allows moisture to move away from the structure.

RainScreen SA has zero VOCs, contains no Red List Chemicals, and does not require primer ensuring crew safety and a healthy building.
