PROJECT DESCRIPTION
VaproShield donated 150 sq.ft. of WRAPSHIELD SA® SELF-ADHERED Water Resistive Vapor Permeable Air Barrier Sheet to The North Dakota State University Design Build team for their 800 sq. ft., 2011 Passive House which was featured at the Minnesota State Fair. Over 300,000 people visited the NDSU Passive House.

This project was used as an educational display for the Minnesota State Fair growers to show energy efficient housing design utilizing the architecture products that promote energy efficiency and sustainability. The key was the high R value of the building envelope, and managing moisture by utilizing rain screen design and ventilated cavity procedures and applications.

WRAPSHIELD SA® SELF-ADHERED was chosen because it combines the best properties of a vapor permeable membrane (50 perms) and an air barrier in one innovative self-adhering product. WRAPSHIELD® also offers:
