ARCHITECT VAPROSHIELD REPRESENTATIVE PRODUCT(S) Cayuga Place is a $30 million, high-end, urban mixed use project in the heart of downtown Ithaca, NY initiated in 2007. Approximately 17,000 sq ft of WRAPSHIELD® was used with the VaproFlashing Black for this open joint rain screen design under Trespa cladding. The development of the Cayuga Place required the use of environmentally sustainable design and materials and it will be registered for LEED certification meaning all materials, and building practices are environmentally friendly. VaproShield products support “green” building practices ensuring healthier buildings for occupants and the environment. WRAPSHIELD® is 100% recyclable and allows trapped moisture to escape, enhancing indoor air quality while reducing the incidence of mold, mildew and/or rot.
