VaproShield products support efforts towards achieving LEED certification in the Energy & Atmosphere and Indoor Environmental categories, including LEED for New Construction & Major Renovations (NC), LEED for Core & Shell, LEED for Existing Buildings (EB) and LEED for Homes.

LEED for Core and Shell (LEED-CS)
LEED-CS covers the site, base building elements such as structure, envelope and the HVAC system.
Energy & Atmosphere
1 Prereq 1 Fundamental Commissioning of the Building Energy Systems Required
2 Prereq 2 Minimum Energy Performance Required
3 Credit 1 Optimize Energy Performance
Indoor Environmental Quality
1 Prereq 1 Minimum IAQ Performance Required
2 Credit 3 Construction IAQ Management Plan, During Construction
3 Credit 4 Low-Emitting Materials, Adhesives & Sealants
4 Credit 6 Controllability of Systems, Thermal Comfort
Innovation & Design Process
1 Credit 1.1 Controllability of Systems, Thermal Comfort

LEED for Existing Buildings (LEED for Existing Buildings)
Rating existing building operating performance and building upgrades. If the project involves a gut rehab or greater scope, use LEED-NC. If the project has less than a gut rehab scope use LEED for Existing Buildings.
